WATER

Der Rheinfall ist einer der drei größten Wasserfälle Europas. Die Aufnahmen für dieses Stück entstanden in Neuhausen am Rheinfall.
Anders geschrieben, aber gleich ausgesprochen, nämlich Reinfall, bekommt der Name noch ganz andere Bedeutungen. Ein Flop, eine Bauchlandung, ein Fiasko.

The Rhine Falls are one of the three largest waterfalls in Europe. The recordings for this piece were made in Neuhausen am Rheinfall.
Spelled differently, but pronounced the same, namely flop, the name has completely different meanings - a belly landing, a fiasco.

TRAIN

Auf dem Weg von Schaffhausen nach Weinfelden musste ich in Winterthur umsteigen. Ein Zug fiel aus, ich stand am Gleis, wartete und nahm auf, was am Bahnhof so alles zu hören war.

On the way from Schaffhausen to Weinfelden I had to change trains in Winterthur. A train was canceled, I stood on the platform, waited and recorded everything that could be heard at the station.
